We examine the chimney’s masonry, mortar joints, crown, flashing, and other exterior areas for visible damage or deterioration.

Cracked or missing mortar, loose or spalling brick and stone, failing chimney crowns, flashing problems, and signs of water intrusion can all point to areas that need repair.
